Loosen Up

“Does cold air cause your joints to stiffen? Keep them loose all winter long with these stretching tips

1.

Always warm up first. Try a bit of easy walking and arm pumping along with deep breathing.

Take it easy. Mild tension during stretching is normal; pain is not.

Do not bounce. Your movements should be slow and steady.

Avoid locking your joints when you straighten them during a return movement. Make sure that your arms and legs are slightly bent with the pelvis tucked under
